Das Konzept und die Gestaltung für das »farbe schwarz Magazin« entwickelte ich zusammen mit Thorsten Kozik und Britta Liermann an der FH Düsseldorf, betreut durch Andreas Liedtke, Art Director von Horizont und beef. Das Magazin trägt verschiedenste Themen, die mit der Farbe schwarz in Verbindung gebracht werden können, auf 230 Seiten zusammen. Eine aufklappbare Banderole dient als Inhaltsverzeichnis zur Navigation über das eingebaute Register, verschiedene Papierarten grenzen die Sektionen thematisch passend zueinander ab und perforierte und kürzere Seiten fassen die Themen zusammen und können als Fächer gesammelt werden. Informationsgrafiken und ein Poster ergänzen die einzelnen Artikel. Weitere Ausgaben beschäftigen sich mit einer anderen Farbe und neuen Themen, lediglich die Sektionen werden beibehalten.
I developed the concept for the magazine »Farbe Schwarz« in collaboration with Thorsten Kozik and Britta Liermann at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf. The project was overseen by Andreas Liedtke, Art Director at Horizont and beef magazine. »Farbe Schwarz« gathers all kind of topics, which can be connected to the color black, on 230 sides. A banderole is used to present the hot topics on the cover. Furthermore it can be used as an addition to the table of content and the implemented register. Various kinds of paper are used to differentiate between the sections of the magazine, fitting the topic of each area. We also included perforated and shorter sides which sum up particular articles and can be detached and collected. Information graphics and a poster provide additional content. Following issues deal with other colors and different topics, keeping only the main sections of the magazine.
